This is our second purchase of this ice machine. All ice machines are prediceted to have maintenence issuesand our last one did but did not preclude us from buying the KitchenAid model again. We probably had 3 o4 maintenence calls on our old machine, rusted cube parts, pump, so be sure and purchase the extended warranty on this and every other brand. We specifically like this machine because of the ice cube size and shape. Most in the market have that large barrel shape. This cube is a small thinner rectangular shape. Fits better into glasses or if blending drinks, and easier to eat. Also better for a cooler or icing down beverages. Bottles easily slip into this shape ice. We switched to the stainless steel door with our new model, it is very handsome and looks very solid and durable.

We have great respect for the brand in terms of quality and reliability, and we are more that satisfied with our new icemaker, whixh is the relpacement for a product from another manufacturer that failed in our home, The new Kitchenaid ice maker we bought at Sears more than meets our expectations.

This ice maker suits our needs perfectly.

We love our new Kitchen Aid ice machine. It is very quiet and makes plenty of clean sparkling ice.

We purchased this ice maker because my family uses a lot of ice. We had to have the first one replaced, because the pump was faulty. The second one worked for 6 months without problems, then the pump stopped working again and water ran all over my hard wood floors. We are working with an appliance repair company to get the problem resolved, but are very frustrated.
